Last updated: 2026-03-02

1. Payment

Payments are processed via the payment methods offered at checkout (e.g. card, EFT, or other methods provided by our payment partners). You must pay the amount due as shown. Currency and payment terms are as displayed. Transactions are subject to the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002 (ECTA) where applicable. Chargebacks and payment disputes should be raised in accordance with the payment provider's rules and our dispute process.

2. Payment gateway disclaimer

We use third-party payment gateways (such as Stripe, PayFast, PayPal). We do not store your full card details. The availability, security, and terms of these gateways are governed by their respective agreements. We are not liable for failures or errors attributable to the payment provider.

3. Delivery

Delivery terms, lead times, and shipping are as agreed with the supplier or as stated on the product or order. V-Intellect is not the supplier and is not responsible for supplier delivery performance. We will assist in resolving delivery issues where reasonably possible but do not guarantee delivery times or outcomes.

4. Refunds and cancellation (CPA compliance)

Returns, refunds, and cancellation are subject to the supplier's policy and the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 (CPA) where you qualify as a consumer. You may have rights to cancel within a cooling-off period or to return defective goods in terms of the CPA. To initiate a return or refund, contact the supplier or our support team. We will facilitate communication and, where applicable, process refunds in accordance with our and the payment provider's procedures.

5. Chargeback policy

If you dispute a charge with your bank or card issuer (chargeback), we and the supplier may provide transaction details to the payment provider. Unlawful or abusive chargebacks may result in account suspension. Please contact us first to resolve any billing or quality dispute before initiating a chargeback.

6. Dispute resolution

Disputes between buyers and suppliers should be communicated through the platform where possible. We may assist in mediation but are not liable for supplier or buyer breach. Legal claims remain between the parties. Where required by law, you may refer a dispute to the National Consumer Commission or other relevant body in the Republic of South Africa.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law in the Republic of South Africa, V-Intellect shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your purchase, including but not limited to supplier default, defective goods, or delivery failure. Our liability is limited as set out in the Terms for Customers. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under the CPA or other applicable law.

8. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Republic of South Africa.
